 Questions

Why did you name me Archibald?
(I was such a tiny kid).
I guess you had a good reason - 
(At least, I hope you did).

Where did I get the lumpy bump
That sits on the bridge of my nose?
And my lovely children - red hair!
How'd that happen? Someone out there knows.

Did I inherit this habit
Of inventing odd little rhymes?
Does someone else have allergies?
Does someone share my dislike of mimes?

These are a few of the questions
That often pop into my head.
(I'd sure like to hear the answers).
What kind of books have you read?

In spite of all the rhymes I've made
I'm really quite serious too.
And when we meet, I'll take the time
To answer some questions for you.
