Interests

Elsewhere on this site, in the Photos area, you can view some of my latch hook results. (You'll have to use your back button to return here, if you go directly to the Photos section....I'm too lazy to add another link to those pages, for this one, at least, right now -- maybe later....)

Besides latch hook, I have learned to cross stitch (counted) . I have learned to crochet just over the last 6 months, so have been busy making cushion covers and simple granny square afghans.

These hobbies are all new, since I turned 50. Now that the son has left home, and the boarder has moved as well, I have had the opportunity to experience "empty next syndrome" - More time for things that I want to do!

UPDATE On May 4th, 2006 I got my ham radio license!

I like Dorothy Cannell's mysteries, and have found numerous horror authors that I like, since Stephen King seems to be losing his touch...I have not cared for his last few books at all.

We had a fresh water aquarium for a few years, a 90 gallon (yes, quite big!). Then over the period of about a week, all of the fish died, except for 2 bala sharks, and a corydorus. Those fish we gave to the son and his family, and we put the aquarium away. Didn't feel like having to watch more fish die, at a later date, and we were getting tired of the maintenance the tank required.
