Chili 2 pounds ground beef 2 - 14 oz. cans of tomato sauce or 2 cans of tomatoes, drained 1 - 14 oz. can of pinto or other beans, such as brown beans, drained if you like 1 - 14 oz. can of kidney beans, drained 1 small can green chilies (about 4 ozs.) 1 cup diced onion 1/2 cup diced celery 1 teaspoon cumin 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon chili powder 3/4 teaspoon pepper Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Combine all the ingredients, including hamburger, in the slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
