Beef Stroganoff Sandwiches* 2 pounds ground beef 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1 loaf French bread Butter or margerine, softened 2 diced tomatoes 1 diced green pepper 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese Cook ground beef and onion. Add salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut bread lengthwise in half and butter both halves. Place on baking sheet. Remove meat mixture from the heat, and stir in sour cream. Spoon onto the bread. Top with tomatoes, green pepper, and cheese.
